Privacy Policy

Website · iOS app · Android app  |  Last updated: 11 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GameRoch collects, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It is a single policy that covers all three places GameRoch runs:

PlatformWhat it isAccount needed?Ads?
Websitegameroch.com, played in a browserNoNo
iOS appGameRoch on the App StoreYesYes
Android appGameRoch on Google PlayYesYes

Throughout this policy, sections are tagged to show where they apply. Where the two mobile platforms behave identically, we say App. Where they differ, they are called out separately.

Short version: the website collects nothing about you. The app needs an account so your scores and league position can follow you between games, and it shows ads. We do not sell your personal information, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.

1. Who we are

GameRoch is operated by Madishan Games, a business based in Delhi, India. Madishan Games is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the GameRoch website at gameroch.com, the GameRoch app for iOS, and the GameRoch app for Android. All three are operated by Madishan Games and share the same backend.

It does not cover third-party services you may reach through GameRoch — for example Google's or Apple's sign-in services, or an external site you open by tapping a link. Those services have their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Website Web

You do not need an account to use gameroch.com, and we do not ask for one. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information on the website. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not run analytics on the site.

The list of games shown on the site is loaded from our Google Firebase database. To read it, your browser opens an anonymous session with Firebase. That session is identified only by a randomly generated ID — it is not linked to you, to any account, or to anything you do on the site, and it does not carry over to the app. Firebase keeps a record of the anonymous session; nothing else about your visit is stored.

If you later sign in to the GameRoch app, that is a separate account and is covered by section 3.2. Signing in to the app does not connect it to any anonymous website session.

3.2 Account information App

The app requires an account so that your scores, league position and Diamonds balance persist across games and devices. Depending on how you sign in, we receive:

  • Google sign-in — your name, email address and profile information as provided by Google.
  • Apple sign-in iOS — your name and email address as provided by Apple. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email option, we only ever see the relay address Apple generates.
  • Email sign-in — your email address.

We also store a display name that you choose. This is the name shown to other players. Display names are automatically screened against a filter and may be rejected; we do not otherwise moderate them in advance.

3.3 Gameplay data App

When you play, we store your game scores, your season Unified Score, your Career Score, your league membership and standings, and your Diamonds balance, linked to your account identifier.

We also record app events such as joining a league, submitting a score, reaching a milestone and season changeovers. These are used to operate the leagues correctly and to understand, in aggregate, how the app is being used.

3.4 Device and advertising identifiers App

Our advertising partner may access your device's advertising identifier and related technical information in order to deliver and measure ads. This is described in full in section 5.

3.5 What we do not collect

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or camera input, your health data, or any financial or payment information. GameRoch has no in-app purchases and takes no payment from players.

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • create and operate your account and sign you in;
  • record your scores and place you in a league of players;
  • display your display name and scores on leaderboards;
  • maintain your Diamonds balance and any cosmetic items you have unlocked;
  • show advertisements App;
  • understand in aggregate how the app is used, so we can fix problems and improve it;
  • investigate reports of abuse, and enforce our rules;
  • meet legal and store-policy obligations.

5. Advertising

5.1 Website Web

We do not display advertising on gameroch.com.

5.2 In the app App

The GameRoch app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Two kinds appear: interstitial ads shown occasionally between screens, and rewarded videos that you choose to watch in exchange for Diamonds or a temporary ad-free period. Rewarded videos are always optional.

AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and related information to deliver and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. For details on how Google uses data from apps that use its advertising services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5.3 Tracking permission iOS

On iOS, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your advertising identifier is used for personalised advertising. If you decline, ads will still appear but will be less relevant. You can change this decision at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

5.4 Advertising ID Android

On Android, the app uses the Google Advertising ID. You can reset it, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely, under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Resetting the identifier does not stop ads from appearing; it limits how personalised they are.

Games on GameRoch are loaded from external hosting. When a game loads, your browser or the app's web view connects directly to that host, which may record standard technical information such as an IP address as part of normal server operation. Games do not receive your account information. The only thing passed back from a game to GameRoch is your score.

7. What other players can see App

Your display name, your division, and your scores are visible to other players on league standings and leaderboards. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Leagues are filled to a fixed size with computer-controlled players when there are not yet enough real players in a division. These are not real people and no real person's data is involved.

If another player’s display name or behaviour is inappropriate, you can report them: on the League screen, tap the button at the end of their row. On the Android app, until its next update, press and hold their name instead.

You can also block a player from the same button. We store the list of players you have blocked, with the display name each had when you blocked them, on your account so that they stay hidden from your standings. You can unblock anyone from Profile → Blocked players, and the list is deleted along with your account.

8. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed in section 6, who process it on our behalf in order to run the app, and where we are required to do so by law or by a valid legal request.

9. Storage and security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services — Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore — which follow industry-standard security practices. Data is encrypted in transit. Our backend runs on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed outside your own country.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will act promptly and notify you where we are required to.

10. How long we keep data

We keep your account data — profile, scores, league history and Diamonds balance — for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept for longer, as they are no longer personal information.

11. Your rights and choices

11.1 Access and correction

You can see the information held on your account from the Profile screen in the app. You can change your display name there. For anything else, email us and we will help.

11.2 Deleting your account App

You can delete your account and all associated data in three ways:

  • In the app — go to Profile and tap Delete Account. This is immediate and permanent.
  • On the web — visit our Account Deletion page.
  • By email — write to [email protected] with the subject line "Delete My Account".

Deletion removes your account, display name, scores, league membership and Diamonds balance. It cannot be undone, and Diamonds are not recoverable afterwards.

11.3 Advertising choices App

See sections 5.3 and 5.4 for how to control ad personalisation on your device.

11.4 Depending on where you live

Depending on your country, you may have additional rights over your personal information — such as the right to access it, correct it, have it deleted, or object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond to any such request in line with the law that applies to you.

12. Children's privacy

GameRoch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it and the data associated with it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear in the app as well.

14. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or about your data, go to [email protected]. We usually reply within 2–3 business days. For general help, see our Support page.
